I married a guy with 4 cows who describes our farm as an FFA project that got out of hand! From the old barn to the remodeled chicken barn to the new barn to the dairy – embracing change and innovation along the way.

I am the 3rd generation at our dairy farm. We milk 900 cows. Our milking herd consist of Holsteins and jerseys, also known as hojos.

My husband, Dave, and I currently milk 60 registered Jersey cattle. In the past year, we have downsized our herd from 150 to 60 head.

Our farm is multi-generational farm and is diversified in that we also involved with cash row cropping. As of today, my son and my father have either an interest or an investment in our operation.

Krause Holsteins is a multigenerational dairy farm near Buffalo Minnesota. Warren started the farm in 1959 when he graduated from the U of Mn. Our family has been farming in Wright county for over 150 years.

Miller Dairy is a family corporation and employees 3 family members, 4 full time employees, and 4 part time employees. We have 380 cows and heifers and grow all our own feed on 1,100 acres.

500 cow robotic dairy (robots initiated October 2019), composted manure solids for bedding, youngstock not raised on site but retain ownership, farm approximately 550 acres for feed.

We purchased our dairy by auction in 1984. We began with 30 cows and 187 acres. Today our dairy has grown to 1,000 milking cows and almost 2,000 acres (owned and rented).

Partnership with 1,000 cows. Married to Sondra 39 years. 3 grown children. 7 grandchildren.

Diversified, dairy, beef and crops. One of 11 children, one of four brothers that stayed on the farm. Great wife of 40 years (Deb), four beautiful children.
