This week, the UN Committee on World Food Security issued its Voluntary Guidelines on Food Systems and Nutrition (VGFSyN) – the culmination of a multi-year effort aimed at providing guidance for achieving sustainable food systems, improving nutrition and ensuring that diets needed for adequate nutrition are accessible, available, affordable, safe and of adequate quality and quantity.

The checkoff-founded Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy (IC) continues to advance its collective work in Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance priorities, assert a stronger voice in the global dialogue and develop paths to a new future through our Dairy Transformation Opportunity Zones, which we’ll discuss in depth at next week’s board meeting.

After reaching out to Starbucks, we were informed that while Starbucks tested a variety of plant-based items at one store near Seattle last year, the announcement in this article was written without Starbucks’ knowledge and they have reached out to the reporter to correct the narrative.

We want to give you a heads-up that several anti-dairy groups are trying to organize a collective campaign called Project Counterglow. This campaign encourages anti-animal agriculture activists to visit dairy farms near them and submit names, addresses, pictures, footage, etc. to add to their national map of farms for activist awareness.
