Dairy farm in Iowa. I have a wife Helma and 6 adult children and 15 grandchildren.

300 cow open lot dairy. 1600 acres owned. 120 acres of corn for silage. Approximately 700 acres of woodland. Remainder of farm in grass for grazing and hay.

My husband and I are first generation dairy farmers. He started milking 16 cows when he was 17, expanded to 40 at 19, to 300 at 33 and 400 at 37. We run about 500 acres of corn and alfalfa which is all custom raised.
